Volunteers bring so much joy to our residents! There are so many ways you can make an important difference in someone’s life. Volunteers interact with residents one-on-one by reading to them or taking them for walks or just being a good listener. Volunteers are also needed for group activities such as BBQs on our beautiful terrace and holiday party preparations.

Many of our volunteers have special skills to offer, in such areas as music, computers, arts and crafts or fitness.  However, no special skills are required…just a willing heart and time to give!

Our Carnegie East House residents are fascinating people from all walks of life who want to remain active and enjoy life. Volunteers are essential in helping us maintain a diverse and interesting offering of activities to our residents. Whether its opera, bridge, Tai Chi, sing-a-longs, trips, yoga, lectures, or simply a smiling face, there are so many different ways you can help.

Those who can…do
those who can do more….volunteer!
