The Carnegie East House family is made up of individuals from all walks of life; therefore we offer a great variety of activities and opportunities for our residents to take part in.
Being in the heart of Manhattan, we are able to expose residents to some of the best cultural and educational activities available. We have various genres of musicians perform for us, presentations from museums and historical societies, discussion groups, theatric performances, bridge clubs, aerobic classes, nightly movies and numerous other clubs that meet and exciting events that occur.
Conveniently located near Museum Row, we frequently take trips to places such as The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The American Museum of Natural History, The MOMA as well as, we have had the joy of having some of these museums perform slide show presentations for us in our very own Carnegie Hall.
We acknowledge that independence is important to residents and we want to be able to offer all of our residents the opportunity to expand on their independence through our various activities and events available to them. Please contact our Activities Director, Scott Gordon at 212-360-2229 to learn more about our exciting activities schedule.
